An online market allowing professional coders, programmers and hobbyists to buy and sell code snippets in exchange for Bitcoin. It was originally created by Amir Taaki who originally described it as, "just a weekend project."[1]

History

  • Pastecoin (pastecoin.com) was announced on December 14, 2010[2].
  • On December 18, 2010 it was purchased at auction by Jeff Garzik for 345 BTC[3].
  • The site was inactive by July 27, 2011[4].
  • PasteCoin (also pastecoin.com) was announced on June 16, 2014[5].
