CoinCard is an exchange where bitcoins can be sold with payment received through PayPal or from a virtual prepaid debit card (gift card).

Payment is delivered nearly instantly after payment has confirmed. CoinCard uses 2 blocks as the confirmation threshold.

The site was first publicly available on Feburary 25, 2011[1].

The operator of the site also operates CoinPal for buying bitcoins.

Fees

  • PayPal: Amounts under $50, 3%. Amounts $50 and over, $1 plus 1%.
  • Domino's Gift Card: 1%
